Classroom Expectations
1. Students should always be respectful toward others, including listening without talking or otherwise disrupting. Students should always be respectful of the instruments, music, and equipment.
2. All students are expected to be responsible for having their proper equipment ready before each rehearsal. Proper equipment includes: instrument, music, music stand, chair, pencil, be properly set up within one minute of the tardy bell ringing. The middle school tardy policy will apply to all students arriving late or not having proper materials.
3. Students should pick up all personal items and class materials (music/instruments) when leaving the band room. Any item left in the band room without teacher consent is done so at the student’s own risk.
4. No gum, candy, food, or drink (excluding water) is allowed in the band room at any time unless permission is given by a director.
5. Cell phones or any other technology device are not allowed during band rehearsals unless permission is given by a director.
